I am a student as well as working with a US based CNC machine company. I have been given a college assignment ie. to write on daily used software. I chose to write on MAGIC software which I use in my office. Its a very user friendly software which is actually a customer database. We can get all the details of our customer at a go. Its used mainly for making quotations & Proforma Invoices which is in a presentable format.
It enables us to generate weekly report on all sent quotations. This helps easily to follow up with our sales engineer & their customers to get orders.Its is also used by our service department for attending service call, to generate service report of particular machine & service calls attended & action taken by service engineer.
It maintains spare part inventory which is linked to account department. This automatically indicates spares to be ordered by having reorder level.Magic helps to maintain the accounts of the company like income & expenditure, receipts & payments, ledgers etc.
One can actually see how MAGIC works with its effect in every department of our company……
